(because let’s face it, everyone is busy and there are hundreds of travel blogs out there):

So are we! But here is the thing. We’ve already done the research. Lots of it (seriously, we have spreadsheets to prove it). So all you have to do is read the info we have given you here!

We made it happen for us, with jobs that didn’t pay very well and in the middle of a global pandemic.  And we’ll tell you how you can do it too.

Or do you just like to laugh at other people’s misfortunes?

Things always go awry for us. Okay, awry might be an understatement. You’ll see. Feel free to laugh and be happy it’s not happening to you.

And now a bit about our enchanted journey:

Once upon a time we were living in rainy Scotland and dreaming about travelling the world. 🌍  

In March 2022, after years of planning and working hard, we quit our 9-5 jobs, stored our board games and books away and stepped into the unknown (while lugging our overpacked backpacks!)  

Since then we have:

🌻 Volunteered in Italy and Bulgaria

🍜 Spent a year travelling Southeast Asia

🎶 Done crazy trips to go see our favourite bands play

🏛️ Explored Europe

💻 Set up a temporary homebase in Slovakia to work on our business
